Various exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an operating method and an electronic device for sharing schedules between a first electronic device and a second electronic device. The method includes, detecting, at the first electronic device, a user input in a schedule sharing menu displayed on an email application screen. The method also includes, displaying, at the first electronic device, a schedule sharing input region according to the user input. The method further includes, receiving, at the first electronic device, schedule information input in the schedule sharing input region. The method also includes, storing, at the first electronic device, the schedule information in a schedule management application and a transfer protocol header. The method also includes, transmitting, at the first electronic device, an email including the transfer protocol header to the second electronic device.

A schedule management method for an electronic device is disclosed. The method includes: storing a schedule of events to be performed within a set time period; displaying an alarm screen including a user interface (UI) regarding the progress of the schedule and a UI regarding the adjustment of the schedule before the schedule starts; and performing associated work according to the progress of the schedule if the UI regarding the progress of the schedule is selected, or performing associated work according to the adjustment of the schedule if the UI regarding the adjustment of the schedule is selected.

According to various embodiments, an electronic device comprises a display, a memory, and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to generate a first file in a chat mail view format, wherein the first file is capable of displaying content of a first email including at least one original message in chat view, and display, through the display, the content of the first email in chat view, based on the first file. An apparatus includes a communication interface to perform a function for a communication connection with another electronic device and to receive schedule information generated by the other electronic device; an input unit to receives a user input; a memory to store at least one of the received schedule information and the generated schedule information; a display to display the at least one of the received schedule information and the generated schedule information; and a processor, wherein the processor controls the other components, determines whether the received schedule information includes contents that cause a communication connection to be difficult to establish on a schedule of the received schedule information, determines contents of the received schedule information when a communication connection request is sent to the other electronic device, and displays the received contents as a notification when the contents cause the communication connection to be difficult to establish.
