Abstract: A method of displaying a user interface (UI) on the panel of an electronic device is provided. The method includes receiving an event corresponding to a movement of a user input from an edge of the panel of the electronic device to an internal part of the panel and displaying a preset object or a preset screen effect based on the event that occurs on an edge of the panel.
