Abstract: A display apparatus and a displaying method using the display apparatus are provided. The display apparatus includes: a receiver which receives a broadcasting signal via at least one of a plurality of channels; a display unit which outputs the received broadcasting signal; and a controller which controls the display unit to detect an identifier included in the received broadcasting signal and to display information relating to a channel receiving a broadcasting signal having the same identifier as the detected identifier.
