Abstract: A power factor correction converter according to embodiments of the disclosure may comprise: a rectifier configured to rectify an alternating current (AC) voltage to a direct current (DC) voltage, an inductor configured to store energy, and a switching unit including at least one switch. The inductor may comprise an outer-leg portion including an upper outer-leg core and a lower outer-leg core, a center-leg portion including at least one center-leg core and at least one air gap, and a coil portion including a coil. The center-leg core may comprise an inner hole.
