Abstract: A method for automatically generating a Region Of Interest (ROI) centric image in an electronic device is provided. The method includes receiving an image frame(s), where the image frame(s) includes a plurality of objects. Further, the method includes identifying a first ROI, a second ROI, and a non-ROI in the image frame(s). Further, the method includes rescaling the second ROI in the image frame(s), summarizing the non-ROI in the image frame(s), and automatically generating the ROI centric image, where the ROI centric image includes the rescaled-first ROI, the rescaled-second ROI, the rescaled-non-ROI, and the summarized non-ROI.

Abstract: An electronic device for auto focus is provided. The electronic device includes determining, by the electronic device, at least one region of interest (ROI) in a scene displayed in one of a viewfinder and a captured image frame and determining, by the electronic device, at least one sub ROI in the at least one ROI by performing a first level of auto focus using at least one first image sensor. Further, the method includes determining, by the electronic device, at least one focused sub ROI by performing a second level of auto focus on the at least one sub ROI using at least one second image sensor and rendering, by the electronic device, a focus transition for the at least one focused sub ROI to one of the viewfinder and the captured image frame.

Abstract: A method for seamless video capture during flex-state transition in a foldable device includes identifying, by one or more sensors of the foldable device, an initiation of a flex movement of the foldable device based on a plurality of frames of a video being captured by a source camera from among one or more cameras of the foldable device; extracting, based on the identifying of the initiation of the flex movement, a semantic scene from the plurality of frames to determine one or more regions of interest (ROIs) in the semantic scene; determining an optical flow for each of the one or more ROIs; determining a flex trajectory of the foldable device; determining a target camera from among the one or more cameras; determining a transition period to switch to the target camera; and switching capturing of the plurality of frames from the source camera to the target camera.
