摘要： A method for transferring a session between clients is provided when one user uses multiple clients on a service (for example, Push to talk over Cellular (PoC), Instant Messaging (IM), Converged-Internet Protocol (IP) Messaging (CPM)) providing system implemented through a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)/IP core network. A session transfer method is provided when the user needs to transfer a session to another client while the session is performed through one client. A temporary storing technique is used in which a conversation server or client as one of elements of a seamless CPM system for providing a seamless user environment temporarily stores data transmitted from another user during session transfer.

摘要： An apparatus and method are provided for performing interworking between different messaging services in a Converged Internet Protocol (IP) Messaging (CPM) service. The method includes receiving, by a CPM server, a message generated based on a user input from an arbitrary terminal; requesting, by the CPM server, a presence server to provide presence information corresponding to a recipient of the message; receiving, from the presence server, the presence information that is transmitted in response to the request; deciding a type of a messaging service for interworking based on the presence information; and delivering, by the CPM server, the message to an Interworking Function (IWF) that converts the message according to the decided type of the messaging service.

摘要： A session control apparatus and method are provided in a converged IP messaging (CPM) server for supporting a CPM session between a first client subscribing to a CPM service and a second client not subscribing to the CPM service. After the CPM session is initiated between the first and second clients through the CPM server and an interworking function (IWF), a session modification request message including specific media is received from the first client. The session modification request message including the specific media is sent to the IWF through the initiated CPM session. A response message is received from the IWF. The response message including a reason for rejection when the specific media is unsupported by the IWF.
