    Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an electronic device for changing attributes of a display, and an operation method in an electronic device. The electronic device may be configured to: acquire user information; set user period information for changing attributes of the display based on the acquired user information; acquire information associated with content being displayed on the display or has been determined to be displayed on the display; change an attribute setting value of the display based on set user period information and the information associated with the content; and control the display to display content based on the changed attribute setting value.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a touch screen, memory storing one or more computer programs, one or more processors communicatively coupled to the touch screen and the memory, wherein the one or more computer programs include computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to display a screen based on a first refresh rate through the touch screen, while displaying the screen based on the first refresh rate, receive a signal indicating a reception of a touch input from the touch screen, before identifying a function to be executed based on the touch input, in response to the signal, control the touch screen to change a refresh rate of the touch screen from the first refresh rate to a second refresh rate higher than the first refresh rate, while the screen is displayed based on the second refresh rate, identify the function based on a recognition of the touch input, based on identifying the function corresponding to a predefined function, control the touch screen to change the refresh rate of the touch screen that is the second refresh rate, and based on identifying the function different from the predefined function, control the touch screen to maintain the refresh rate of the touch screen that is the second refresh rate.

    Abstract: An electronic device that quickly updates a screen when receiving an input from a peripheral device is provided. The electronic device includes a display driver integrated circuit (DDIC) configured to output a tearing effect (TE) signal having a designated frequency, and a processor configured to control the peripheral device, a display, and the DDIC and to transmit image data to the DDIC in response to the TE signal, wherein the DDIC is configured to output the TE signal at a first frequency, receive an interrupt signal from the peripheral device while the TE signal is output at the first frequency, output the TE signal at a second frequency in response to the interrupt signal, the second frequency being greater than the first frequency, receive image data updated by the processor based on the TE signal output at the second frequency, and drive the display to display the received image data.
