Abstract: A control method and an apparatus using an accessory device are provided. The control method includes detecting that an accessory device including at least one physical key is mounted to the electronic device, setting a touch screen as an input area in which an input of a physical key is detected according to the physical key and a display area exposed by the physical key, and displaying screen data in the set display area.
