Abstract: A method for determining a data source is provided. The method includes recognizing, by an electronic device, at least one external device communicating with the electronic device, determining at least one device from of the electronic device and the at least one external device on the basis of at least one of a user's wearing state and authentication information corresponding to the at least one external device, and obtaining, by the electronic device, data relating to the electronic device through the at least one determined device.
