    Abstract: An apparatus and/or a method for providing dual connectivity (DC) in an electronic device which may include multiple SIMs. An electronic device may include: a first SIM comprising first subscriber identity information; a second SIM comprising second subscriber identify information; a wireless communication circuit; and at least one processor operatively connected to the first SIM, the second SIM, and the communication circuit, wherein the at least one processor: connects to a first MCG network or a first SCG network, based on the first subscriber identity information when data communication using the first subscriber identity information is configured; identifies a state of communication with the first MCG network; restricts addition of a second SCG network, based on the second subscriber identity information when the state of communication with the first MCG network is a connected state; and allows addition of the second SCG network, based on the second subscriber identity information when the state of communication with the first MCG network is in an idle state. Other embodiments may be also possible.

    Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise: a temperature sensor; a wireless communication circuit; and a processor electrically connected to the wireless communication circuit, wherein the processor is configured to: receive a temperature sensed by the temperature sensor; determine a first maximum transmission power as a maximum transmission power of uplink transmission data to be transmitted through the wireless communication circuit, identify a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index and a number of resource blocks (RBs), when the received temperature is higher than a predetermined value, based on the identified the MCS index and the number of RBs, determine a second maximum transmission power, and change the first maximum transmission power to the second maximum transmission power, wherein the second maximum transmission power is lower than the first maximum transmission power.
