Abstract: A rotor and a motor including the same. The motor includes a stator and a rotor configured to rotate by interacting with the stator. The rotor includes a plurality of permanent magnets disposed in a circumferential direction of the rotor and rotor cores disposed between the plurality of permanent magnets. The rotor core includes a notch cut inward from a circumferential surface thereof, and the notch is formed in an asymmetric shape. The rotor core has a notch formed on one side of the circumferential surface and the rotor core has a shape inverted left and right with the rotor core are alternately stacked, so that a magnitude of a synthetic cogging torque generated in the rotor is reduced.
