摘要： Systems and methods for wireless communications are provided. In one implementation a communications system is provided. The communications system includes a wireless access point connected to a public switched telephone network “PSTN”. The wireless access point is configured to provide wireless communication allowing a wireless user access device to communicate data through the PSTN connection. The communications system also includes a device coupled to the wireless access point. The device has one or more primary functions unrelated to public communication.

摘要： An unported vacuum drum has a system of closely spaced small grooves in the outer surface thereof and holes drilled in the drum provide communication between the grooves on the outer surface and a space on the interior of the drum. The interior drum can be connected to a source of vacuum for applying the vacuum through the holes to the grooves. In order to avoid defects that may occur in a web brought into contact with a drum, the outer surface of the drum is covered with a porous sleeve. The pores in the sleeve enable the vacuum to be applied from the grooves to the outer surface of the sleeve for holding the web onto the sleeve.

摘要： An antenna enclosure is designed to be suspended from a line such as a messenger strand which extends in a first direction between a pair of utility poles, in a similar manner to other aerial strand mounted communication system components. At least one antenna element is mounted in the enclosure. The antenna enclosure in one example is elongated in the first direction and tapers inwardly in a vertical direction between the upper and lower ends of the enclosure. Two spaced connecting brackets mounted on the upper end of the enclosure are configured for connection to spaced positions on a line to suspend the enclosure from the line.
