Measurements of movement of the implant and/or coupled bone can be automatically calculated and selected parameter settings can be automatically propogated to other image data sets of other patients of the batch of image data sets and measurements for the batch of image data sets of others of the different patients can be automatically calculated.

Bone and the at least one metallic implant are segmented in the first and second image stacks to define segmented objects and/or segmented parts of objects. Selected relevant image stack pairs from the first and second patient image stacks can be registered using the selected segmented objects and/or the segmented parts of objects. Measurements of movement of the implant and/or coupled bone after the registration can be calculated using the selected segmented objects and/or the segmented parts of objects.

    摘要: Methods, systems, workstations, viewers, grossing stations and computer include a display and a viewer circuit configured to cause the display to concurrently display: (i) a macroscopic view of a grossing specimen with virtual cut location marks associated with orientation and location of actual physical cut locations used to obtain tissue samples from the grossing specimen and (ii) at least one digital microscopic whole-slide image (WSI) of a tissue section from the specimen. The display can show the at least one WSI image on the display with a relevant cut location mark on the macroscopic view shown visually enhanced from other cut location marks on the macroscopic view to thereby allow a user to visually connect where the tissue section in the WSI image was obtained during a grossing procedure.
