摘要： A computer program for manipulating diagnostic images obtained with computed tomography or magnetic resonance systems stores acquired voxel data in addresses in an electronic memory related to the spatial location of the voxels. Sample lines are identified in the space of the voxels and interpolated values are determined for points along these sample lines by accessing the volume data in the electronic memory as a "tube" which includes voxel data having spatial coordinates which vary only in the dimension of the sample line. The tube of data may be more easily accessed from the electronic memory than would a series of random accesses and also allows the sharing of interpolation calculations for the interpolated points along the sample lines.

A view axis along which a projected image is to be displayed is adjusted to reflect this distortion. After projecting the voxel data to pixels of an image, the data is decompressed to remove any distortion. The decompression operates over the limited number of pixels rather than the entire set of voxels providing faster image generation.

摘要： A refrigerator case for supporting items for display having a front wall access to expose a well portion of the case for loading and unloading the items for display. More specifically, the refrigerator case includes a front panel hingedly secured to a front wall of the case. The panel pivots from a closed position where access is not available through the front wall to an open position where the well portion of the case is exposed through the front wall for loading and unloading items. When in the open position the inner surface of the panel is coplanar with the bottom surface of the well portion. The panel is supported in the open position by flexible cable connected to struts in the front wall. In this manner, baskets containing the items for display may be slid over the inner surface of the panel and into the well portion.

摘要： A combined refrigerated display case and walk-in cooler wherein an improved refrigeration system combines a single air circulation means and two distinct refrigeration units, a first refrigeration unit dispersing refrigerated air for a plurality of air curtains travelling across an access opening provided at the front of the display case portion of the combination, a second refrigeration unit dispersing refrigerated air rearwardly to the walk-in cooler portion of the combination. The front access opening provides unimpeded access to the refrigerated space of the display case. Support means are provided between the walk-in cooler portion and display case portion extending between a lower surface of the refrigeration system and the floor for carrying shelves associated with the refrigerated display case portion of the combination. Goods may be removed from the shelves by purchasers through the display case access opening and goods may be deposited thereon by suppliers through a rear access opening between the display case portion and the refrigerated walk-in cooler portion of the combination. A barrier such as a curtain or other protective means is also provided between the refrigerated display case portion and the walk-in cooler portion of the combination to environmentally separate the two sections or portions during normal usage. The refrigerated air forming the curtains in front of the refrigerated display space is recirculated into the walk-in cooler space after passing under the refrigerated display space.

摘要： A door check having a slidable arm mounted on a multi-stepped shoulder fastener has means for pivotally mounting the arm on the door of a refrigerator display case or like apparatus at one end thereof and has an elongated slot extending from the mid portion of the arm to an opposite end thereof which receives the shoulder fastener. A restriction is provided in the slot near the outer end thereof. The fastener is mounted on the display case and engages the outer end of the slot when the door of the display case is swung to the full open position. The hold the door open the arm can be moved upwardly so that the restriction in the slot bears against an enlarged shoulder of the multi-stepped fastener to retain the door in the open position. Pressure on the door toward the closed position spreads the restriction in the slot apart to drop the arm and permit travel of the door to the closed position without damage to the door stop. In the alternative, pressure on the door toward the open position disengages the enlarged shoulder from the restriction and allows the arm to drop back to its normal position so as to permit travel of the door.
