Abstract: A method of diagnosing pancreatic cancer in a subject in need thereof is provided. The method comprising determining a level of at least syndecan 1 (SDC1) in a blood sample or a fraction thereof of the subject, wherein when the level of SDC1 is above a predetermined threshold, the subject is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
