    摘要: A method of transmit power control for a random access channel uses historical information or information from a physical layer to determine the minimum power. In one embodiment, a previous ramping power is taken as a reference power of a current ramping. The reference power is calculated by adding an offset to an initial transmit power level for the current ramping. A mobile access terminal runs the random access procedure at the initial transmit power with the added offset for the current ramping. Once a successful transmission is made during the random access procedure, the successful transmit power level is recorded as a reference power for a next random access procedure, and the transmission continues at the recorded transmit power level. When a retransmission is required, another initial transmit power level is calculated.

The operations includes: retrying a random access procedure on a carrier frequency with the cellular station via the wireless module, and stopping the retry of the random access procedure in response to the retry of the random access procedure being failed or receiving a message from the cellular station via the wireless module.

The data processing device is configured to combine the first sub-group of data and the second sub-group of data as a portion of a data transmission group. The processing device is configured to provide a size of a first length indicator based at least on a size of the data transmission group. The first length indicator is configured to indicate a size of the first sub-group of data. The processing device is also configured to provide a size of a second length indicator based on one or more numbers or considerations, such as (a) the size of the first length indicator; (b) the size of the first sub-group of data; (c) the size of the data transmission group; and (d) the size of a header section. The second length indicator is configured to indicate the size of the second sub-group of data.
