摘要: A candle type chemical oxygen generator which insures complete thermal decomposition of the candle with a predetermined flow rate of oxygen while maintaining the generator housing at a low temperature. Oxygen generated as a result of the thermal decomposition of the oxygen generating candle (32) by triggering the ignition device (F'), passes through cylindrical thermal insulation (36) and an annular gap between the cylindrical thermal insulation (36) and the cylindrical member (37) which houses the candle to thereby cool the cylindrical member, and is supplied to the exterior through the oxygen supply device (S').
