摘要： A digital photo frame (DPF) includes a power source, a display panel, a light detector, a motion detector, a processing unit, and a power management unit. The light detector is configured to detect the ambient brightness. The motion detection unit is configured to detect whether anyone is around. The processing unit is connected to the light detector and the motion detector. If the motion detector detects someone is around the DPF and the light detector detects the ambient brightness is below a predetermined value, the processing unit controls the power management unit to provide power to the display panel.

摘要： The present invention relates to a mobile communication terminal. The mobile communication terminal includes a display unit; a storage unit for storing communication records and communication frequencies of each of the communication records in a particular time period; and a processing unit, configured for controlling the display unit to display a subset of the communication records in the particular time period, wherein the communication records are sorted according to the associated communication frequencies, and divided into two parts, wherein the two parts of the sorted communication records are listed in an alphabetical order respectively. The present invention also provides a call history displaying method adapted for the mobile communication terminal.

摘要： A displaying device includes an input unit, a region defining unit, a content allocating unit, an obtaining unit, a display controlling unit and a display unit. The region defining unit defines regions by incorporating one or more unit regions in each of the regions according to users' selections and generates region defining information. The content allocating unit allocates contents for the regions according to the users' selections and generates content allocating information. The obtaining unit obtains the region defining information, the content allocating information, and contents according to the content allocating information, and then transmits the information and contents to the display controlling unit. The display controlling unit splits a display area of the display unit into the regions defined by the region defining unit and displays the contents in the regions correspondingly according to the content allocating information. Related methods are also provided.

摘要： A mouse with a screen saver control function is provided. The mouse includes a left button, a right button, a scroll button, a screen saver control button, a memory unit, and a micro-processing unit. The memory unit stores a simulation program. When receiving a signal from the screen saver control button, the micro-processing unit runs the simulation program of the memory unit, and generates simulated input signals to a computer connected thereto, and thus to prevent the computer from running a screen saver program. Utilizing the mouse, a computer user can control a screen saver of the computer momentarily, without resetting a duration of initiating the screen saver program. Therefore, the mouse is very convenient for the computer user to control the computer.

摘要： A sound output system is provides. The system includes one or more sound output apparatuses, each sound output apparatus having been assigned an identification (ID) code; a server for storing the ID code and corresponding compensation parameters for each sound output apparatus; and an audio signal generating device, connected to the server through a network. The audio signal generating device includes a compensation parameter obtaining module for obtaining the ID code of a sound output apparatus if the sound output apparatus is connected to the audio signal generating device, and downloading compensation parameters corresponding to the ID code from the server; and a compensation unit for regulating audio signals according to the compensation parameters, and outputting the regulated audio signals to the sound output apparatus via an interface. Another sound output method is also provided.

摘要： A lamp includes a lamp body, an LED light source, a storage unit, a switch apparatus, and a microprocessor. The storage unit stores a function table recording a relationship between a plurality of types of touches and a plurality of control functions. The switch apparatus includes a touch panel, a touch controller, and an indicator located under the first touch region. The touch panel generates signals in response to touches applied on thereon. The touch panel includes a first touch region and a second touch region. The touch controller receives the signals and determines the type of the touch intended. The microprocessor refers to the function table, and controls the LED light source to execute the control function and to give visual feedback when the touch panel is touched. A switch apparatus is also provided.
