摘要： A contact fusing apparatus comprising a heated roll structure cooperating with a pressure roll structure to form a nip through which support material carrying toner images thereon is moved with the toner images contacting the heated roll structure. The contact fuser is characterized by the provision of stripping means for insuring removal of the support material from the heated fuser roll and a roller structure interposed between the stripper means and the nip which roller contacts the support material to thereby restrain the material while the leading portion of the material is being stripped from the heated roll structure. The result of stripping while restraining is to minimize the degree of curling of the copy paper.

摘要： A fixing device in an electrophotographic copying machine, wherein stripping members each being in contact with the surface of a heating roll 21, and conveying rolls which serve to convey a support material while the latter being held therebetween, are positioned on feedout sides of the heating roll for thermally fixing a thermoplastic material on the image support material and a pressure roll characterized in that said conveying rolls have their peripheral speeds higher than that of said heating roll.

摘要： A reproduction apparatus includes: a reproduction unit configured to reproduce, from a recording medium that records a video signal, the video signal; a first GUI supplying unit configured to supply first GUI data to a terminal apparatus connected via a network, the first GUI data being data for causing a user to select an arbitrary scene in the reproduced video signal and color modulation information applied to the scene; and a metadata processing unit configured to perform color modulation of the selected scene with the selected color modulation information to thereby create an image as a snapshot, and to store metadata in a server apparatus connected via the network, the metadata including access information necessary to access the snapshot.

摘要： A device for use in an electrophotographic duplicator employing a sensitive member comprising a temperature-dependent sensitive material whose static charge characteristic varies with the surface temperature thereof, the sensitive member bearing an electrostatic latent image having an image region and a background region, the device comprising a developing electrode disposed at the periphery of the sensitive member for effecting uniform development of the image region; temperature sensitive means disposed in the vicinity of the sensitive member responsive to the surface temperature of the sensitive member for generating a bias potential for the developing electrode, the developing electrode being so controlled by the bias potential that the bias potential is always maintained at a value greater than the value of the potential of the background region even when the temperature at the surface of the sensitive material decreases substantially thereby necessitating a substantial increase in the bias potential whereby little, or any, toner is deposited on the background region to thereby lessen fogging thereof.
