摘要： A method includes, at a customer premise equipment (CPE) device, accessing data descriptive of content available via a network coupled to a network interface of the CPE device. A plurality of rules are analyzed using a forward-inferencing rules engine to determine whether one or more of the rules are satisfied based on the data. The rules include at least one user defined rule and at least one automatically generated rule, where the at least one automatically generated rule is automatically generated based on user history information. The method includes selecting particular content of the content available via the network for presentation via a display device.
