摘要： A synthetic resin vessel composed of a sheet of a synthetic resin and having a top opening, wherein: a flange is formed integrally with and along the edge portion of the opening; a continuous ridge protuberance is formed on and along the top face of the flange; and a lid is heat-sealed through the protuberance to close the opening and is subsequently openable by a seal-opening operation, the synthetic resin vessel being characterized in that a projection extending toward the outer periphery is formed in one or both of portions of the protuberance for starting and terminating the seal-opening operation. This synthetic resin vessel has a high sealing property and a good peelability.

摘要： Method and apparatus for heating and removing moisture from moist or watery material, wherein a watery material is introduced into one end of a rotating cylindrical drum having a section divided into a number of longitudinally extending compartments including a center compartment and circumferential compartments surrounding the center compartment and each accommodating freely disposed packing members. A hot gas is blown axially through the drum while the packing members in the respective compartments are caused to tumble in contact with the watery material to transfer the sensible heat of the hot gas thereto.

摘要： The present invention relates to apparatus for separately extracting circular and linear components in a complex image, the apparatus comprising: (a) a circular filter means for covering a portion of the complex image by filter blocks, wherein the filter blocks comprise a center block and at least one set of blocks angularly disposed to encircle the center block; (b) a first calculator element for computing average image concentration value for each of a plurality of directions with said circular filter means covering a subject portion of the complex image, wherein the concentration value for one directional component is a maximum; (c) a second calculator element for computing a first feature S in which the values of the directional components are evaluated with maximum directional component being enhanced; (d) a third calculator element for computing a second feature value S' in which the values of the directional components are evaluated with the maximum directional component being weakened; and (e) a mode selector for selectively applying (i) the first feature value S to detect linear image components and (ii) the second feature value S' to detect circular image components.
