Abstract: An exhaust pipe connecting device includes a seal member, mounted on an end portion of a first exhaust pipe; a coupling member, mounted on an end portion of a second exhaust pipe; and a spring member, provided between the first exhaust pipe and the second exhaust pipe, that presses the seal member toward the coupling member. The first exhaust pipe and the second exhaust pipe are rotatably connected to each other while the coupling member contacts the seal member. The spring member has nonlinear spring characteristics such that a spring constant in a high load region in the operation range of the spring member is larger than a spring constant in a low load region in the operation range of the spring member.
