Abstract: A computed tomography device includes a holding frame and a ring mount, being movably mounted to the holding frame. The ring mount includes an x-ray detector, with a semiconductor material, operable in an equilibrium of statistical states of occupation. In an embodiment, the computed tomography device includes a first power supply, set up to supply power, in an operating state of the computed tomography device, to a first lot of components of the computed tomography device, the first lot of components being arranged on the ring mount for an image generation process; and a second power supply, separable from the first power supply in terms of circuitry, to supply power to a second lot of components of the computed tomography device in a resting state of the computed tomography device, the components of the second lot being set up to hold the semiconductor material in the equilibrium.

Abstract: A detector apparatus for use as part of a data network includes a plurality of x-ray detectors, each of the plurality of x-ray detectors including a network-capable network interface, and a switch or router, connected to each of the network-capable network interfaces of the plurality of x-ray detectors, each of the plurality of x-ray detectors including a distinct IP address such that the data network is adjustable to take a change in a number of the plurality of x-ray detectors into account. The plurality of x-ray detectors are configured to detect x-rays generated from a single x-ray source.

Abstract: An X-ray detector includes a direct-conversion converter element and an evaluating unit in a stacked arrangement. In an embodiment, the X-ray detector includes a voltage source, configured to provide a first potential and a second potential different from the first potential; a pulse generating unit for generating voltage pulses; and a connecting unit, for applying the voltage pulses onto the first potential, configured at the output to provide a pulsed potential. In an embodiment, through the application of the pulsed potential to a first surface of the direct-conversion converter element and through the application of the second potential to a second surface of the converter element opposed to the first surface, a pulsed potential difference is formed in the direct-conversion converter element.

Abstract: One or more example embodiments relates to a power supply circuit for a computed tomography system. The power supply circuit comprises a stationary power distributor including an uninterruptible power supply; a co-rotating bias voltage supply, the co-rotating bias voltage supply including a voltage supply input, a bias voltage supply output, and a bias voltage monitoring unit, the bias voltage monitoring unit being configured to activate or to deactivate the bias voltage supply output as a function of an electrical input voltage detected at the voltage supply input, and the bias voltage includes a sensor configure to detect the electrical input voltage at the voltage supply input; and an auxiliary voltage source having a power buffer, the power buffer configured to supply the bias voltage monitoring unit with electrical power for deactivation of the bias voltage supply output.
