Abstract: Systems and methods for mapping wound features of a wound bed and also detecting degradation of electrode or connectivity performances are provided. Electrical measurements are collected from an array of electrodes which apply electrical signals to a periwound tissue outside the wound bed. The electrical measurements are processed to generate an impedance map of the wound bed, which is converted to maps conveying spatial distributions of clinical metrics.
