摘要： Provided is a plasma display apparatus. The apparatus includes a plasma display panel having a plurality of scan electrode lines and address electrode lines, and supplying a scan signal to the scan electrode lines and supplying an address signal to the address electrode lines. The apparatus includes an inductor forming a resonance circuit together with a capacitance of the panel. Whereby the address signal comprises a gradual rise or fall period. A supply start time point of the address signal precedes a supply start time point of the scan signal.

The apparatus includes a plasma display panel having a plurality of discharge cells, and time-division driven by dividing a unit frame into a plurality of subfields, and a driver for supplying a reset signal for initializing the plurality of discharge cells to a scan electrode of the panel in a reset period. The driver supplies gradually rising setup signals to the scan electrode in reset periods of the plurality of subfields. An average slope of the setup signal supplied in a first subfield among the plurality of subfields is different from an average slope of the setup signal supplied in a second subfield.

摘要： An induction cooking apparatus and method for inductively heating cookware is provided. An analog/digital circuit, including a microprocessor, generates a plurality of gating pulses for operating the power inverter circuit and monitors the operation of the power inverter circuit. The microprocessor provides signals to start and stop the inverter circuit, and determines a period of uninterrupted power inverter circuit operation corresponding to a desired cooking temperature. Analog circuitry is provided for sustaining operation of the power inverter circuit after the power inverter circuit is started, and for compensating for variations in cookware materials.
