A time window (72) of a predetermined width (e.g., an hour) is centered on the selected tick mark (74, 92), and the timeline (18) is then animated as it shifts the selected tick mark (74, 92) to the center of the timeline (18). Data (e.g., images, measured parameters, etc.) corresponding to the time window is identified (e.g., via timestamp information) and presented to the user on a display along with the timeline (18).

摘要: A plurality of hazard alarm devices are in spatially diverse locations and coupled together with an input-output bus. An interconnect protocol enables non-originating alarm devices to synchronize their audible alert tone pulses with audible alert tone pulses from an originating alarm device in a local hazard alarm condition. Hence, all audible alert tone pulses start sounding substantially together with allowances for signal contention and arbitration between the spatially diverse alarm devices.

摘要: A system, method, and apparatus are arranged to enable loading of an application, such as a game application, prior to a formal release date of the application. An end-user is provided components of the application either over a network, CD, DVD, or the like. At least one component of the application is encrypted. The end-user may register with an application provider. At a pre-defined time, such as a release date for the application, a decryption key is made available to the end-user. The decryption key may be employed to decrypt the encrypted component(s) of the application, such that the application may be readied for execution. In addition, bug fixes, additions, or the like, may also be pre-loaded to release of the application, thereby ensuring that the end-user has the most current application configuration.

摘要: A compiler transforms source code into intermediate code and provides the intermediate code to a profiler. The profiler executes the intermediate code. The profiler generates a performance profile that indicates the performance of the intermediate code, and annotates the intermediate code based, at least in part, on data from the performance profile. The compiler receives annotated intermediate code from the profiler and transforms the annotated intermediate code into machine code. Alternatively, the compiler transforms intermediate code to machine code and provides the machine code to a profiler. The profiler executes the machine code and generates a data file that indicates the performance of the machine code. The compiler receives the data file, and modifies the machine code based on the data file.
