Abstract: In systems and methods of selecting a sub-band, a first sub-band and a second sub-band of an access node are selected, and is it determined that an intermodulation product of the first sub-band and the second sub-band overlaps with a carrier band of the access node. A transmission of data is scheduled on the second sub-band when a power of the intermodulation product of the first sub-band and the second sub-band does not meet a power threshold.

Abstract: In systems and methods of selecting an access node for wireless device communication, it is determined that a first loading of a first access node meets a first loading criteria, and a wireless device is selected which is in communication with the first access node and which detects a second access node. A request is sent to the second access node to accept a handover of the wireless device, and a timer is started comprising a first timer value when the request is rejected by the second access node. A second request is sent to the second access node to accept a handover of the wireless device to the second access node when the timer expires, and the wireless device is instructed to change from communicating with the first access node to communicating with the second access node when the second request is accepted by the second access node.

Abstract: Systems and methods for allocating a frequency band in a wireless communication network are provided. An access node can transmit a first system information message. The first system information message can include a first service identifier associated with a first service and a second service identifier associated with a second service to indicate availability of the first service and the second service over a frequency band. The access node can receive instructions to discontinue transmitting the second service identifier within the first system information message. The access node can transmit a second system information message after receiving instructions to discontinue transmitting the second service identifier. The second system information message can include only the first identifier to indicate availability of only the first service over the frequency band.
