Abstract: Systems and methods are described for transmitting multicast content via a unicast mode of transmission. An access node schedules wireless transmissions to a plurality of wireless devices to transmit separate control and header information to each of the wireless devices. The access node also schedules wireless transmissions to the plurality of wireless devices to transmit a single multicast content payload that is commonly used by all of the wireless devices.
