摘要： A method of provisioning multicast services is provided. In an example, the method includes forming a plurality of multicast groups, each of the plurality of multicast groups associated with one of a plurality of first channel quality ranges. A request for a multicast service and an indicator (e.g., a channel quality indicator (CQI)) indicating a channel quality of a mobile unit are received from the mobile unit. The mobile unit is assigned to one of the plurality of multicast groups based on the indicated channel quality and the plurality of first channel quality ranges.
