    Abstract: A paper feed roll includes a shaft body and an elastic body layer formed on the outer circumferential surface of the shaft body. The outer diameter of the elastic body layer is 10-50 mm, the outer circumferential surface of the elastic body layer is provided with, in the circumferential direction, 1-8 grooves extending in the axial direction, the grooves have a constant groove width in the depth direction or have a groove width that gradually decreases in the depth direction, the groove width of the grooves is 0.2-1.0 mm, and the groove depth of the grooves is 0.2-1.0 mm.

    Abstract: Provided is an endless belt which can improve rotational durability when compared to a conventional endless belt. This endless belt is formed in a tubular shape and is used for electronic photographing apparatuses. The endless belt has an edge part which is formed on at least one belt edge in the belt width direction and which has an end that is tapered toward the outside of the belt width direction. The edge part can be configured by a first edge part formed by intersecting an outer inclined surface with a belt inner circumferential surface, a second edge part configured by intersecting an inner inclined surface with a belt outer circumferential surface, or a third edge part configured by intersecting the outer inclined surface with the inner inclined surface.

    Abstract: Provided is a cleaning blade. The cleaning blade is used for removing remaining toner which remains on a surface of the target member in an electrophotographic apparatus. The cleaning blade is provided with the blade portion having the edge portion which comes into sliding contact with the target member. The edge portion includes: a substrate of the blade portion; an inner layer extending from a surface of the substrate to the inside of the substrate; and an outer layer extending from a surface of the substrate to an outer outside of the substrate. The inner layer contains at least an acrylic resin or a methacrylate resin, and has a thickness of less than 1 μm. The outer layer contains at least an acrylic resin or a methacrylate resin, and has a thickness of 0.02 μm or less.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a cleaning blade capable of improving chipping resistance. A cleaning blade includes a blade part made of polyurethane and having an edge that comes in slidable contact with a mating part. The edge includes: a base material containing polyurethane; an impregnated layer containing polyurethane in the base material and a cured acrylic product and present from the surface through to the inside of the base material; and a particle layer containing particles supported by the surface of the base material. The average particle diameter of the particles is between 3 nm and 100 nm, inclusive. The thickness of the impregnated layer is 30 nm or greater and less than 1000 nm. The edge has an area ratio of the particle layer to the impregnated layer that is between 5% and 30%, inclusive in a cross section perpendicular to the surface of the base material.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides a development roll for electrophotographic apparatuses. The development roll for electrophotographic apparatuses includes: a shaft; an elastic layer formed on an outer circumferential surface of the shaft; a surface layer formed on an outer circumferential surface of the elastic layer; and an end protection layer formed on an outer circumferential surface of the surface layer at both ends in an axial direction. The end protection layer contains a binder polymer and a surface modification agent that has a cyano group.
