摘要: An organic light emitting display device, comprising: a first insulating layer formed on a substrate; a plurality of patterns formed on the first insulating layer, the patterns and the first insulating layer together forming a surface having a corrugated cross-section; a first electrode formed on the patterns and the first insulating layer, the first electrode having a thickness less than a height of the patterns; an organic light emitting layer formed on the first electrode in a light emitting region; and a second electrode formed on the organic light emitting layer. The light completely reflected by internal surfaces of the first and second electrodes is externally emitted due to a mode mismatch phenomenon in an edge portion of a pattern thereof, thereby increasing a light emission rate of the display device.

摘要: An organic light emitting display apparatus that has high (or improved) contrast and/or impact resistance. The organic light emitting display apparatus includes: a substrate; an organic light emitting device on the substrate to display an image; a sealing member on the organic light emitting device; a semitransparent film on a surface of the sealing member facing away from the organic light emitting device to transmit a portion of external light and to reflect another portion of the external light; a passivation film on the semitransparent film to protect the semitransparent film; and a transmissive black layer between the sealing member and the organic light emitting device to increase contrast, wherein the semitransparent film has a refractive index greater than that of the passivation film.

摘要: An organic light emitting display device includes a first substrate, a plurality of organic light emitting devices on the first substrate, a second substrate arranged opposite and substantially parallel to the first substrate with the organic light emitting devices therebetween, a plurality of spacers between the organic light emitting devices and the second substrate, and a plurality of fillers alternately arranged with the spacers and configured to fill in space between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein at least portions of the spacers overlap with a plurality of light emitting regions corresponding to the organic light emitting devices. The spacers and fillers are composed of transparent materials having refractive indexes similar to each other so that visibility and image quality are not lowered and the distance between the substrates is substantially constant.
