摘要： An apparatus and method are provided for controlling a function of a mobile phone in a mobile communication system. The method includes the steps of receiving a pilot signal with a Pseudo Noise (PN) code; determining whether the received pilot signal has a predefined PN offset, setting a restriction of a particular function of the user terminal when the pilot signal is a predefined first PN offset; and releasing the restriction of the particular function of the user terminal when the pilot signal is a predefined second PN offset.
