Abstract: A liquid-filled light emitting diode (LED) bulb including a stem body, a shell connected to the stem body to form an enclosed volume, and one or more LEDs attached to a support structure and disposed between the shell and the stem body. The LED bulb also includes a driver circuit configured to electrically drive the one or more LEDs. A thermally conductive liquid and a liquid-volume compensation mechanism are also disposed with the enclosed volume. The one or more LEDs and the driver circuit are thermally coupled to the thermally conductive liquid.
