Abstract:
A LAMINATED ASSEMBLY OF A THIN SOLID ELECTROYTE OF RBAG4I5 OR AG3SI SANDWICHED BETWEEN A THIN ANODE OF SILVER OR A MATERIAL CONTAINING SILVER AND A THIN CATHODE OF TELLURIUM, SELENIUM, OR A MATERIAL CONTAINING TELLURIUM OR SELENIUM. THE ELECTROLYTE AND CATHODE CAN BE EASILY FORMED BY VACUUM EVAPORATION DEPOSITION. A LAYER-BUILT SOLID-ELECTROLYTE CELL CAN BE READILY FABRICATED BY SUCCESSIVE REPETITIONS OF THE VACUUM EVAPORATION PROCEDURE TO BUILD UP A PLURALITY OF UNIT CELLS IN STACKED FORMATION.
