Abstract: The present application discloses a display device. Based on that a birefringence of a liquid crystal molecule is symmetrically compensated by using an optical compensation layer, the display device of the present provides a liquid crystal compensation layer on a first polarizer, and the liquid crystal compensation layer adjusts a compensation value through a refractive index difference and a thickness of the liquid crystal molecule. Therefore, the compensation value may match a high phase difference of the display device due to a large adjustment range and a little limitation, thereby improving a dark side-view leakage of the display device, improving a contrast of the display device, and improving an image quality.

Abstract: A display device is provided. A liquid crystal compensation layer is disposed on each of a first polarizer and a second polarizer. The liquid crystal compensation layers adjust compensation values through refractive index differences and thicknesses of liquid crystal molecules, so adjustment ranges are large and limitations are few, and the liquid crystal compensation layers can be matched with high phase differences of a liquid crystal display panel. Abstract: A polarizer and a display device are disclosed in the present application.
