    Abstract: Polarizers, manufacturing methods thereof, and display panels are provided. The polarizer includes a substrate having an integrated structure. The substrate includes a first part and a second part disposed on a side of the first part. The first part includes lyotropic liquid crystal molecules and is dispersed with a dichroic material. The second part includes lyotropic liquid crystal molecules without the dichroic material. The first part functions as a polarization part of the polarizer, and the second part functions as a compensation part of the polarizer.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a display panel, including a liquid crystal cell and a polarizing assembly disposed on the liquid crystal cell. The liquid crystal cell includes a display area, a transparent homogeneous dielectric layer is disposed between the polarizing assembly and the display area. The polarizing assembly includes: a substrate, a first polarizer and second polarizers. The first polarizer includes a first alignment layer and a polarizing layer, the first alignment layer is disposed on the substrate, and the polarizing layer is disposed on a side of the first alignment layer facing away from the substrate. The second polarizers are disposed on the substrate, and two adjacent second polarizers are disposed on opposite sides of the first alignment layer.

    Abstract: A display panel includes a thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate, an opposite substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the TFT array substrate and the opposite substrate. The TFT array substrate includes a first substrate. The opposite substrate includes a second substrate. The display panel further includes a first viewing-angle improving layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first viewing-angle improving layer adjoins one film layer on the first substrate or the second substrate. The first viewing-angle improving layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate so that the first viewing-angle improving layer can be a stacked part manufactured integratedly with other film layers of the display panel. Thus, manufacture of the first viewing-angle improving layer can overcome a size limitation of a mold in a nanoimprinting technology, effectively improving a large-viewing-angle-display effect of a large-size display panel.
