Abstract: A terminal cutter includes a tool frame having a first cutting member coupled to an upper handle having a first cutting surface for cutting a terminal from a carrier strip and a second cutting member coupled to a lower handle having a second cutting surface for cutting the terminal from the carrier strip. A terminal strip guide assembly is coupled to the upper handle and/or the lower handle offset from the first and second cutting members. The terminal strip guide assembly includes a strip guide having a slot receiving the carrier strip and having a guide surface adjacent the slot. The guide surface is configured to engage the terminal to locate the terminal relative to the terminal strip guide assembly and to control a depth of the carrier strip received in the slot.

Abstract: A 4-way indent tool includes a cover holding a motor and a drive screw operably coupled to the motor and an indenter holder holding four indenters positioned orthogonally around a terminal opening configured to receive a terminal. The 4-way indent tool includes a indenter actuator cam arm positioned adjacent the indenter holder to operably engage the indenters having cam surfaces engaging the corresponding indenters to actuate the indenters. The 4-way indent tool includes a drive nut threadably coupled to the drive screw being moved linearly on the drive screw between an unactuated position and an actuated position. The indenter actuator cam arm is coupled to the drive nut and moves with the drive nut between the unactuated position and the actuated position to actuate the indenters.

Abstract: A 4-way indent tool includes a indenter actuator cam arm being movable between an unactuated position and an actuated position to actuate four indenters to crimp a terminal. The 4-way indent tool includes a drive assembly movable along the drive screw between a retracted position and an advanced position. The drive assembly has a drive nut on a drive screw and a coupler operably coupled between the drive nut and the indenter actuator cam arm. The coupler moves the indenter actuator cam arm. The coupler has a spring loaded coupling between the drive nut and the indenter actuator cam arm compressed as the coupler is moved between the retracted position and the advanced position.
