Abstract: A terminal insert is provided for an unshielded cable that is configured to be inserted into an insert receptacle of a connector. The terminal insert includes an insert receptacle fitting section that is adapted to be fittingly received in at least a part of the insert receptacle, a terminal receptacle that is adapted to fittingly receive at least parts of a cable terminal, and a touch protection section at least at a first end, wherein the insert receptacle fitting section and the touch protection section are located on one monolithic piece. A connector is provided including at least one such terminal insert. A set is provided including the connector, at least one such terminal insert and a further terminal insert.
