    摘要： An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, at lease one contact mounted to the insulative housing and a fusible element mounted to the contact. The contact includes a body portion and a mounting portion extending from the body portion. The mounting portion includes a support portion and first and second tails bent from the support portion along opposite directions in order to form a discrete receiving slot. The first and the second tails are substantially perpendicular to the body portion. The fusible element is received in the receiving slot and is in line with the body portion of the contact for reliable fixation.
