Abstract: Pressure transducer means for sensing system pressure and providing a signal proportional thereto is connected to an electrical differentiator which provides an electrical signal which is proportional to the rate of change of system pressure. The rate of change of system pressure electrical signal is then compared to a predetermined reference signal to provide an output electrical signal only when the rate of change signal equals or exceeds the reference signal for a predetermined period of time. The output signal is utilized to actuate a device or sound a warning as may be required.
