Abstract: A method for managing the display of an aircraft flight profile may be carried out by an electronic management device intended to be connected to a set of at least one terrain data base. Each terrain data base may have a respective resolution. The method may include selecting at least one resolution, as well as the terrain data base associated with each selected resolution. The method may further include generating data for displaying the flight profile and using each terrain data base selected. The method may also include where each resolution is selected according to a width of a corridor associated with a respective portion of the flight profile.
