Abstract: A ball joint is manufactured by molding a holder through casting by using a ball as a core and joining a shaft member to the ball after the casting through electric resistance welding. The ball joint includes: the ball; a resin sliding contact member including a first opening portion and a second opening portion that expose a spherical surface of the ball in opposite directions; the holder molded through the casting by using the ball and the resin sliding contact member as a core, the holder being obtained by integrally molding a closing portion that is held in contact with a part of the ball, which projects from the second opening portion of the resin sliding contact member; and the shaft member joined to another part of the ball, which is exposed from the first opening portion of the resin sliding contact member, through the electric resistance welding.

Abstract: Provided is a ball screw device which enables easy production and assembly of a nut member and formation of an endless circulation path for balls in the nut member with high accuracy. The nut member includes a plurality of nut components arranged in a superposed manner along an axial direction of a screw shaft. At a boundary portion between the nut components which are adjacent to each other, a raceway path for balls extending around a periphery of the screw shaft is formed. A joining surface of each of the nut components used for joining with another one of the nut components includes: a raceway forming surface which is annularly formed around the through hole; and an abutment surface for joining which is formed on an outer side in a radial direction with respect to the raceway forming surface.

Abstract: A suspension is provided which can not only generate a damping force between sprung mass and unsprung mass but also steer a wheel. A suspension includes: a shaft coupled to sprung mass of a vehicle, the shaft having a screw groove and a spline groove formed thereon; a ball screw nut assembled to the shaft via a ball; a ball spline nut assembled to the shaft via a ball; a ball screw-specific motor connected to the ball screw nut; a ball spline-specific motor connected to the ball spline nut; and a case coupled to unsprung mass of the vehicle, the case being configured to hold the ball screw-specific motor and the ball spline-specific motor. The ball spline-specific motor rotates the ball spline nut and the shaft relative to the case.

Abstract: A lubricant supplying device has: a mounted member that is mounted to a moving member, which moves along a rail, and that is disposed with an interval between the mounted member and concave portions that are provided in the rail along a length direction of the rail; and a supply path unit that is removably attached to the mounted member, wherein the supply path unit has an introducing port into which a lubricant is supplied, supplying members that project out from the mounted member toward the concave portions and supply the lubricant to rolling surfaces of the concave portions on which rolling bodies that are provided at the moving member roll, and a tubular member that connects the introducing port and the supplying members, and the mounted member has an accommodating portion that is concave and accommodates the supply path unit from the length direction of the rail.

Abstract: A disclosed screw device provides an allowance for the accuracy of a recess in an end surface of a nut. A nut has a communicating hole communicating in an axial direction, and is provided at an axial end surface of the nut with a recess communicating with the communicating hole. A circulation member including a turn-around path is placed in the recess. When the circulation member is placed in the recess, the turn-around path of the circulation member is linked to a loaded rolling element rolling groove and the communicating hole of the nut to form a circulation path of a rolling element. A clearance between the circulation member and a wall surface of the recess permits the circulation member to move. The circulation member placed in the recess is not fixed in the recess, and is covered with a lid member to be attached to the nut.
