Abstract: The present disclosure refers to a remote control unit adapted to control a stairlift, wherein the stairlift comprises, a rail, a drive unit having a platform, such as a chair or a lifting ramp for a wheelchair, for driving along the rail, a first control unit arranged at and connected to the drive unit. The remote control unit is arranged separately from the drive unit and is wirelessly connected to the drive unit.
