Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the production of modified polypropylenes having a good adhesiveness to inorganic fibers and metals. The process is characterized by heating crystalline polypropylene and one or more of alicyclic carboxylic acids having a cis form double bond in the ring and their anhydrides in the presence of a radical producing agent.
