A machine for separating a load (C) made up of several superimposed layers of packages (B) and supported by a pallet (P), includes: a base element (3) connected to a housing element (5) that also includes a base member (7) that meets the face of the pallet opposite to the load; a slide wall member (9) in sliding contact with a face of the load, a side wall member (11), and a compacting plane member (13) slidably operated along the side wall member towards and away from the base member. A tilt actuator (15) interconnected between the base element and the housing element is assigned to rotate the housing element around a pivot pin (14) between a first extreme condition wherein the slide wall member is vertical and a second extreme condition wherein the housing member is rotated by an angle of approximately 90° or greater.

A machine for composite packages has an entry first carrier which is oriented in a first carrying direction and carries a composite package including a pallet, having a plurality of parallel and coplanar upper grooves and an overhanging load. A travelling-lifting device located at an exit of the first carrier has a first translator for translating the pallet and the load, and a lifter to move vertically the first translator, the pallet and the load between a lowered first state, and a lifted state where the pallet grooves are at a certain predetermined height. A drive has rods parallel and coplanar to the pallet grooves in the lifted state. The rods move between a complete disengagement state and an engagement state where the rods enter the grooves. A winder for packaging materials winds at least the sides of the load supported by the rods.

A device for replacing a pallet to be replaced (P) supporting a load (C) with a replacing pallet (S) a bulkhead element (9) connected between uprights (7) and vertically spaced from a slide element (3) by at least the height of the pallet to be replaced (P) so as to form a window (11) for passage of the pallet to be replaced (P) therethrough. The pallet to be replaced (P) and the load (C) are moved into an exchange site (I) in front of the window (11) and in abutment with it, or facing and adjacent to, the bulkhead element (9), wherein a force exerted on the pallet to be replaced (P) by the replacing pallet (S) causes the latter to be inserted (S) under the load and the pallet to be replaced (P) to move away beyond the window until it reaches a collecting site (R).

A device for separating a load (L) from a pallet (P) includes a set of plate elements (3, 5) operated by respective insertion elements (7) for insinuation between the load (L) and a surface of the pallet (P) and operated by respective lifting elements (9) to separate the load (L) from the pallet (P). Right (13) and left (15) mutually parallel side walls are arranged vertically and include a rotation element (11) for each plate element (3, 5) for rotating and orienting the plate elements (3, 5) with respect to the surface of the pallet, with the set of plate elements (3, 5) including a right plate-like element (3) and a left plate-like element (5) each sliding in a respective swivel and slide element (19) of the rotation element (11).

A device for replacing a first pallet (P) supporting a load (C) with a second pallet (S) includes a flat faced slide surface element (3), a flat faced translating support element (5), a load sliding control element (7) parallel to the translating support element (5), a connecting element (9), where the load sliding control element is connected to the slide surface element (3) and/or to the connecting element (9), and a rotation member (11) connected to the connecting element (9) to allow the rotation thereof around a rotation axis (R) parallel to the flat face of the translating support element (5) between an initial condition, in which the slide surface element (3) and the translating support element (5) are respectively vertical and horizontal, and a rotated condition in which they (3, 5) are rotated by more than 90° for replacing the first pallet (P) with the second pallet (S).
