Abstract: There is provided an occupant protection device for protecting an occupant seated on a seat, including: an airbag folded and accommodated in a bag shape made of a flexible sheet material; and a holding belt portion that is wrapped around a hip of the occupant and holds the folded airbag. The airbag is configured to, when the airbag is activated, allow an inflation gas to flow thereinto, and inflate to protrude forward and upward from the holding belt portion, and includes an upper body restraining surface capable of restraining an upper body of the occupant, on a rear surface side, when inflation is completed, and a vehicle body side member abutting surface that abuts against a vehicle body side member provided in front of the seat to be capable of ensuring a reaction force of the airbag when the occupant is restrained, on a front surface side.

Abstract: An occupant protection device, which protects an occupant seated in a seat, includes: an airbag; and a holder configured to accommodate and hold the folded airbag. The holder is arranged in front of a waist of the occupant seated on the seat. The airbag inflows inflation gas into the inside and inflates so as to protrude from the holder and toward the occupant side, the airbag including: a lower inflation portion configured to cover an upper surface of the thigh; an upper inflation portion which configured to cover a front surface of an upper body; and a cross-inflation portion arranged between the lower inflation portion and the upper inflation portion. A length dimension of the holder is set to a dimension which secures a space for arranging the inflated cross-inflation portion between the waist and the holder when the inflation of the airbag is completed.

Abstract: An occupant protection device, protecting an occupant seated in a seat, includes: a seat belt; and an airbag which is arranged in an area of a lap belt in the seat belt. The airbag includes a bag body and a regulatory tether. A thigh abutment surface abutting on a thigh of the occupant is arranged on a lower surface side of the bag body, and an upper body restraining surface restraining an upper body of the occupant is arranged on a rear surface side. The regulatory tether connects a base end to a rear surface side of an upper-lower intermediate portion of the bag body and connects a tip extending downward from the base end to the lap belt side and a length dimension is set a dimension in which a connecting portion connecting the base end of the bag body can be pulled toward the lap belt side.

Abstract: An attachment structure, for a side airbag device including an airbag that is to be deployed and inflated on a side of an occupant seated on a seat in a vehicle interior under pressure of a gas supplied from an inflator, includes an attachment member via which the airbag is attached inside the seat. The attachment member includes a support portion that supports the airbag before the airbag is deployed and inflated, an attachment portion that is attached inside the seat, and a guide portion that guides the airbag to a seat outer side at a time when the airbag is deployed and inflated. The guide portion is provided so as to correspond to a part of the airbag supported by the support portion.
