Abstract: An image information collection system is an image information collection system in which a server device collects image information from a vehicle via a telecommunications line. The vehicle includes: an imaging device configured to capture a surrounding image; and a control device configured to calculate an evaluation value of the surrounding image captured by the imaging device, the control device being configured to determine, based on the evaluation value thus calculated and a location where the surrounding image is captured, whether or not the surrounding image is transmitted to the server device as the image information, the control device being configured to transmit, to the server device, the surrounding image determined to be transmitted.
