摘要： A virtual viewpoint image generation method for generating a virtual viewpoint image that is an image of an object viewed from a virtual viewpoint based on plural images of the object taken by plural cameras. Projection planes having a multi-layered structure are set on the images of the object, corresponding to a projection point of a projection plane. Color information of each projection point is determined based on color information of corresponding points, for each of the projection points overlapping when viewed from a reference viewpoint in a space. A degree of probability that the object exists at a distance corresponding to a position of the projection point is determined based on a degree of correlation of the corresponding points.

摘要： A lens shutter mechanism for camera includes a shutter opening/closing lever which opens or closes a shutter blade or blades. 摘要： A single lens reflex camera is provided which has a planar area for mounting a light emitting component such as an electronic flash thereon. The planar area is defined by at least a portion of top surface of a body of the camera which is located on one side of a pentaprism housing disposed centrally on the top surface, and is at a lower level than the remainder of the top surface which is located on the opposite side of the pentaprism housing. 摘要： A motor driven camera includes a reversible motor which is disposed within the body of a camera. The camera includes a transmission mechanism which transmits a drive from the motor to a film winding mechanism, a film rewind mechanism, a shutter charging assembly, an automatic focussing assembly or a zone focus assembly in a selective manner. 摘要： A focal plane shutter comprises a first and a second blind, a take-up and a winding drum supporting the opposite ends of the first blind, a take-up and a winding drum supporting the opposite ends of the second blind, a first blind winding pinion and a second blind winding pinion having an operationally integral relationship with the first and the second blind winding drum, respectively, and a pair of shutter winding sector-shaped gears in meshing engagement with the first and the second blind winding pinion, respectively, and adapted to rotate in response to a shutter charging command. Each of the sector-shaped gears have a hiatus which is located opposite to the associated pinion to release the meshing engagement when no shutter winding operation takes place. The sector-shaped gears and the pinions are located relative to each other in a manner such that rotation of the first blind winding pinion precedes rotation of the second blind winding pinion when a shutter winding operation is to be commenced.

摘要： An electrical shutter circuit for a camera includes a photoelectric transducer element which is responsive to light from an object being photographed to determine a proper exposure period in accordance with the brightness thereof, thus automatically controlling the operation of a shutter assembly which opens or closes an exposure light path. In the open position of the shutter assembly, the photoelectric transducer element is irradiated with light of a fixed, relatively low intensity emitted by a luminescent element so that the electrical shutter circuit is automatically operated for the closing operation after a period of time determined by the light from the luminescent element even if the incident light from the object being photographed is extremely weak or completely absent.
