摘要： An image processing apparatus ejects the sheet to witch image processing unit perform to an ejection tray or a staple stacker by a pair of ejection rollers and the like. A sheet path for guiding the sheet to the ejection rollers is opened and closed in conjunction with slide movement of the ejection tray when the ejection tray is attached to a main body of the apparatus, and the sheet path is opened and closed in conjunction with the slide movement of a staple stacker when the staple stacker is attached to the main body of the apparatus.

摘要： This invention relates to a resupplying apparatus detachably attached to an image forming apparatus body which comprise a resupplying passage connecting a sheet material passage on a downstream side of an image forming means in the image forming apparatus body with another sheet material passage on an upstream side of the image forming means. Also, the resupplying apparatus comprises switchback conveying means placed in the resupplying passage for reversing the conveyance direction of the sheet material upon reception of the sheet material from a conveyer in the image forming apparatus body, said switchback conveying means at least partially assembled in the image forming apparatus body; and resupplying means for returning the sheet material to the upstream side of the image forming means through the resupplying passage.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a main assembly including an image forming station, a conveying unit for conveying a recording material on which the image forming station forms an image, the conveying unit including a recording material inlet, recording material feeding device and a recording material discharging outlet, and being supported on the main assembly for movement toward and away from the main assembly. The image forming station is at least partly disposed adjacent the conveying unit and is exposed when the conveying unit is moved away from the main assembly. When mounted to the main assembly, the convening unit constitutes a passage for conveying the recording material substantially in a vertical direction through the image forming station, and the conveying unit is separable, substantially along the conveying passage, from the main assembly.

摘要： This invention relates to a sheet loading device for causing sheets put out one after another from a sheet output apparatus such as a laser beam printer or a copying apparatus onto a sheet receiving member to be loaded in orderly, mutually superposed relationship without being deviated from one another. The sheet loading device is provided with a sheet receiving member for supporting thereon discharged sheets in mutually superposed relationship, a sheet loading positioning member, gathering device for frictionally contacting the upper surface of the sheets supported on the sheet receiving member and gathering the sheets in an oblique direction, and a support member free to move and position and supporting the gathering device and the positioning member, and is characterized in that the support member is moved in accordance with the size of the sheets put out onto the sheet receiving member to thereby position the gathering device and the positioning member mounted on the support member at positions corresponding to and matching the size of the sheets. The sheet loading device is also characterized in that during sheet loading operation, the sheet receiving member cannot be placed out of the device and the sheet receiving member cannot be inserted into the device unless it is properly prepared.
