    摘要: A disc drive apparatus comprises: a spindle motor 20 for hold a disc 2 and for rotate it; an optical head 7 for conducting either one of recording or reproducing of information onto/from the disc; a driver unit for moving the optical head in a radial direction of the disc; and a unit mechanism chassis 8 for supporting those thereon, fixedly, wherein the spindle motor is constructed with a rotational drive means made of a magnetic circuit, a rotor portion and a rotation shaft, which define a rotation body, and a spindle motor attachment plate to hold those thereon, and the spindle motor attachment plate has a semi-circular shaped plate configuration in a part thereof, nearly fitting to an outer diameter the rotor portion, in a direction where the optical head is provided, and has a step-like structure in thickness direction of the plate thereof, within a semi-circular shaped region with respect to a line connecting between corner portions on both ends of that semi-circular shape, and also bridging over that line.

    摘要: An optical disc apparatus, presenting recording quality without degradation by an extreme temperature rise in an objective-lens drive mechanism in an optical pickup, includes a mechanical chassis on which a disc rotation mechanism, an optical pickup, and a transfer mechanism are mounted, a decorative plate that is a plate-shaped member located between the disc and the optical pickup and fixed on the mechanical chassis, a disc tray for loading and removing the disc, a circuit board for operation control, and an apparatus housing containing the components. A recess is formed in an indented shape in a portion of the mechanical chassis facing an outer peripheral region of the disc recording surface. An incline is formed in a position close to an opening of the disc tray for mounting the mechanical chassis and opposite the outer peripheral region of the disc recording surface, and slopes gently down to the recess.

    摘要: An optical disc apparatus comprises the followings within housing thereof: an optical pickup, which is configured to conduct recording or reproducing of a disc, as an information recording medium; a rotation mechanism of said disc; a transfer mechanism, which is configured to move said optical pickup from an inner periphery of said disc up to an outer periphery thereof; a mechanical chassis, which is configured to mount said optical pickup, said disc rotation mechanism and said transfer mechanism thereon; a disc tray, which is configured to conduct storing and taking out of said disc; and a connector, which is configured to electrically connect between a circuit board for conducting driving control of said rotation mechanism and an external electronic apparatus, wherein a projection portion is provided on a reverse surface of said disc tray, at a portion facing to said connector at a position when said disc tray is stored, to be inserted into a gap between periphery of said connector and said housing, and thereby preventing fluid sounds (or wind sounds) generating due to high-speed rotation of the disc when high-speed recording/reproducing, from leaking into an outside of the apparatus, so as to reduce the noises therefrom.

    摘要: To prevent deformation of a chassis due to an impact force in an optical disc apparatus, there is provided a tray for inserting/ejecting an optical disc into/from an apparatus body, with the chassis connected thereto through vibration proof materials in plural portions in a surface opposite a disc placing surface. The tray has projecting portions projecting in a chassis direction in positions facing the chassis in peripheral portions of the plural connecting portions. The projecting portion is located at a position higher than a tray plane with which the vibration proof material comes into contact, and lower than the surface of a chassis facing the tray. When the vibration proof material is compressed and deformed due to the impact force, the projecting portion comes into contact with the chassis facing surface, to reduce the amount of deformation of the vibration proof material and thereby prevent deformation of the chassis.
